What Are Red & Blue LED Light Therapies?

The Rejuvalight system is the application of Red or Blue LED light onto the skin.

How do Red & Blue LED Light Therapies work?

Specific light wavelengths of LED light stimulate the regeneration of elastin and collagen fibres to tighten sagging skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scar tissue. Blue light is used to destroy bacteria so is ideal for treating active acne. The Red light wavelengths assist in improving elasticity.

How long do Red & Blue LED Light Therapies last?

Patients undergoing red light therapy are recommended to be treated at least once a week, more frequently if convenient and that a course of treatments should last for 6 to 8 weeks.

Will Red & Blue Light LED Therapies be painful?

No. This treatment is absolutely pain free!

Are there any risks involved with Red & Blue LED Light Therapies?

You must wear protective eye covers when having LED light therapies and it is recommended that you use a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen is recommended for daily use after your treatment. There should be no risks or complications at all following LED light therapy.
