Terms and Conditions
1. About Us
The Good Skin Company is a registered and regulated aesthetics and wellness clinic, providing non-surgical aesthetic treatments and holistic wellness services. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance, professionalism, and patient care.
2. Appointments
Appointments can be scheduled online, by telephone, or in person.
Certain treatments require an initial consultation before treatment can be booked.
Some treatments may be subject to a cooling-off period before proceeding.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment where it is considered clinically inappropriate, unsafe, or not in the client's best interests.
3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of an appointment may incur a 100% cancellation fee or forfeiture of any booking deposit paid.
Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice may result in the full treatment cost being charged.
Clients with repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may be required to prepay for future appointments.
4. Lateness
Clients are encouraged to arrive at least 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling to avoid disruption to subsequent bookings.
5. Medical Information and Consent
Clients must complete a medical history form before treatment and inform us of any relevant changes to their health.
All treatments require informed consent, including a full explanation of the procedure and associated risks.
We reserve the right to postpone or decline treatment where clinical suitability has not been established.
6. Results and Guarantees
Individual treatment results vary and depend on factors including age, health, skin condition, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare advice.
While we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, no treatment outcome can be guaranteed.
Maintenance or follow-up treatments may be recommended to achieve or maintain desired results.
7. Children and Minors
Treatments are available only to clients aged 18 years and over.
Skincare consultations may be offered to clients aged 16 and over, with parental or guardian consent where appropriate.
Children accompanying clients must remain supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
For safety and regulatory reasons, children are not permitted in treatment rooms.
The Good Skin Company accepts no responsibility for the supervision of children on the premises.
8. Pricing and Payment
All prices are subject to change without prior notice but will be confirmed at the time of booking.
We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved payment methods.
Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking depending on the treatment or service selected.
9. Refunds
Fees for treatments already provided are non-refundable.
Refunds for prepaid treatments will be considered at the clinic's discretion and may be subject to administration charges.
Deposits and payments may be refunded where appointments are cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice.
10. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and process personal and medical information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without consent unless required by law or professional obligation.
11. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please speak with a member of our team in the first instance.
A formal complaints procedure is available upon request.
Written complaints will be acknowledged within two working days, and we aim to provide a full response within twenty working days.
